Drag and drop Email

Issue

When doing drag and drop in from Outlook to the community correspondence tab no data is being recorded on some machines.

Possible workaround

It may be due to configuration in Outlook for Offline Settings.

Look at the configuration for Offline Settings - "Use Cache Exchange Mode" in Email Accounts settings.

If this is ticked then you may experience this issue. This is more likely going to be the case for laptops that may be required to work with Outlook offline.

Simply untick this option.

 

Known environments where this occurs:

  • Outlook 2016 32 bit on Windows 10
