How to Edit the SynWeb Config File (Synergetic.XML)

This file is normally located in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\SynwebCfg\Synergetic.xml

Method

Run the CreateConfig Exe

1 - Log onto the SynWeb Server as an Administrator.

2 - Open Windows Explore and Navigate to IIS SynWeb location - this is normally C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SynWeb\binConfig

3 - Run as Administrator Synergetic.Application.CreateConfig.exe

  This will open an Update SynWeb Config file tool

4 - Make the necessary Updates

5 - Select Update File

Considerations

Previously you could use the SynWeb → Edit Config File(Synergetic.XML) menu item.

The preferred option is now to use the Synergetic.Application.CreateConfig.exe
