Purpose
The NAB Transact demo site is used when a site is in test mode with NAB Transact, it will process test data in the form of mock payments to ensure that:
- The school's portal can establish a connection with the NAB Transact servers
- The setup has been successful and payments can be made in the online environment
- Debtors are set up correctly to reflect outstanding payments
You can also use the site to validate your NAB Transact Merchant ID and Password combination.
Using The Test/Demo NAB Transact System
The test details are used to try out the system and any new configuration settings in a secure testing instance that will make real world contact with the NAB Transact servers without actually making a real life payment.
The following credentials can be used to set up a test/dummy merchant within Synergetic.

These details will need to be entered into System > Online Payments Maintenance.
The following card numbers can be used when testing:

If there are issues with accessing NAB Transact with test credentials then the test account may be locked. Please contact NAB Transact on 1300 338 767 to arrange for this to be unlocked. (Select 1, then explain that the NAB Transact demo account with Client ID 'XYZ' is locked) |
| Please be aware that any card details entered into the Portal when Online Payments is in Test mode will not be available when switching to Live mode. |
