NAB TLS 1.2 Implementation

Summary

Earlier in the year, NAB Transact moved to TLS 1.2 protocol as a standard for Demo purposes/in 'Test' mode.

As of 21 Nov 2017 this will also be the standard protocol supported by NAB Transact in 'Live' mode.

NAB Transact Support have released a statement around what is changing and what is required as of 21 Nov 2017.

Requirements and Considerations

Synergetic has been updated to support the TLS 1.2 protocol as of v67.24. In order to comply with NAB's requirements, all schools using Online Payments with NAB Transact integration must ensure that they are on v67.24 or above before November 21st.

If you do not upgrade to a compatible version before 21 Nov 2017, Online Payments will no longer work and you will be unable to accept online payments through the Synergetic Community Portal until a compatible version is installed.

If you are already on version of 67.24 or above, then no further action is required!

Check and ensure that your current version of Synergetic is 67.24 or above by going to Help > About within Synergetic.
