These will be updated to reflect requirements for a Synergetic upgrade.
We strongly encourage and support clients to self-upgrade using the Self Deployment Tool (SDT).
In most cases this takes less than 15 minutes!
The use of this tool will allow you to upgrade easily, on-demand, and on a more regular cadence.
The upgrade may not proceed if these requirements have not been met:
- All servers requiring an upgrade must have Screen Connect installed and the service running
- .NET 4.8 will need to be installed on all environments where an upgrade will take place and can be completed by yourself anytime prior to the upgrade (note that this may require a reboot of the server being updated)
- Client site must be running SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1. If not, arrange SQL Server upgrade or server migration prior to the Synergetic upgrade
