Subject Assessment Area Maintenance - Area bar

Use the Area bar to:

view areas defined for the subject assessment
add, delete or move subject assessment areas
maintain the details of subject assessment areas.

Opening the Area bar

To open the Area bar:

Select Curriculum > Assessment Area Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Subject Assessment Area Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the assessment area.
Click on the Area bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

The Area bar of Subject Assessment Area Maintenance is displayed.

Subject Assessment Area Maintenance - Area bar key fields and buttons
Fields

Field	Description
Area	The order the subject assessment areas appear in.
Heading	The heading of the subject assessment area.
Type	The type of subject assessment area.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Expand the selected subject assessment area to maintain it. See Subject Assessment Area Maintenance - Area bar - Area tab.
	Move the selected subject assessment area up in the list.
	Move the selected subject assessment area down in the list.
	Add a new subject assessment area. See Creating new subject assessment areas.
	Delete the selected subject assessment area.

Common buttons

Button	Description
	Navigate between the subject assessment areas.
	Delete the selected subject assessment area. See Deleting subject assessment areas.
	Create a new subject assessment area.
	Search for another subject assessment area.
	Customise which navigation bars are displayed and their order.
	Create a task relating to the selected subject assessment area.
