Student Results Maintenance - PTI tab

You can use the PTI tab to maintain the parent teacher interview request statuses of the class you are currently processing.

Opening the PTI tab

To open the PTI tab:

Select Module > Assessments, then Student Results Maintenance.
The Set Student Results Search Criteria window is displayed.
Tip: You can also access the Set Student Results Search Criteria window by clicking .
Search for the classes attended by the student. See Searching for student results.

Tip: Search by Staff Code or Staff ID.

The Single Student tab of the Student Results Maintenance window is displayed.
Click the PTI tab.
The PTI tab of the Student Results Maintenance window is displayed.

Student Results Maintenance - PTI tab key fields and buttons
Fields

Field	Description
Group	Result group for the subject assessment area, if applicable. Tip: If you have a lot of subject assessment areas, you can group them together using the Result Group field. See Creating new subject assessment areas in the Assessments and reports manual. You can select the result group from the group field then select subject assessment areas from within the group, instead of searching the full list.
Show Left	Select to include students who have left your organisation in the list.
Show Non Assessable	Select to include non-assessable students in the list.
Auto Scroll	Select to automatically move the cursor down to the next grid cell when you press the Enter key.
Auto Results Calc	Select to enable automatic results calculation upon exiting the class or bulk setting values.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Go to the first student.
	Go to the previous student.
	Go to the next student.
	Go to the last student.
	The button beside the: Class code and name launches the Class Maintenance window. See Maintaining classes in the Assessments and reports manual. Staff code launches the Staff Maintenance window. See Maintaining staff in the Human resources manual. Student name and number launches the Student Maintenance window. See Maintaining current students in the Current students manual.
	Launch the Find/Replace window for the selected class. See Using the Find/Replace window.
	View other results for the selected student, if they are available. See Viewing student results (teacher).
	Launch the Set Student Results Search Criteria window.

Grid area

The parent teacher interview request status can be entered for the selected student.

Common toolbar icons

Icon	Description
	Spell check all the students in the class. Shortcut key: Ctrl + F7.
	Apply default results and classifications to either the selected student or the entire class. Shortcut key: Ctrl + Alt + S.
	Apply default print flags to either the selected student or the entire class. Shortcut key: Ctrl + Alt + F. See Class Maintenance - Print Flags tab.
	Apply result calculations to student or class. Shortcut key: Ctrl + K.
	Adjust class statistics. Shortcut key: Ctrl + J. See Adjusting class statistics.
	View the student's photo. Shortcut key: F11. Note: The Photo of window is the same as the Photo tab in Community Maintenance. See Community Maintenance - Photo tab in the Community manual.
