Subject Assessment Area Maintenance - Area bar - Materials tab

Use the Materials tab to maintain a record of the materials required for an external or internal course or subject. Materials can be text books, stationery, art supplies and so on.

Opening the Materials tab

To open the Materials tab:

Select Curriculum > Assessment Area Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Subject Assessment Area Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the assessment area.
Click on the Area bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on the bar other than the caption to open it.
Click next to the subject assessment area you want to maintain.
The Area tab of the Area bar of Subject Assessment Area Maintenance is displayed.
Click the Materials tab
The Materials tab of the Area bar of Subject Assessment Area Maintenance is displayed.

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Sequence	Identifying sequence number for the material.
Material	Code for the material.
Description	Description of the material.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Add one or more materials to the end of the list in the grid area.
	Delete the selected material from the list.

Common buttons

Button	Description
	Navigate between the subject assessment areas.
	Delete the selected subject assessment area. See Deleting subject assessment areas.
	Create a new subject assessment area.
	Search for another subject assessment area.
	Customise which navigation bars are displayed and their order.
	Create a task relating to the selected subject assessment area.
