UseMAPI configuration setting

Description
The UseMAPI setting is used to set the email method used. Either use the:

• Email client on your PC using MAPI. See Using the Send Email window in the Introduction manual.
• Same method as when sending emails from grids or communications (SMTP). See Using the Send Email(s) window in the Introduction manual.

Default value
The default value is False.
This setting uses the Send Email(s) window, using the same method used when sending emails from grids or communications (SMTP).

 

Setting a different value
Select the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set it to True. See Maintaining configuration files.

The Send Email window is used to send emails, using the email client on your PC using MAPI.
