Printing labels to a dot matrix printer

If you want to print your labels to a dot matrix printer then you must select the Generic/Text Only printer when you are creating the label report.

Each user who runs the report must have the Generic/Text Only printer installed on their workstation. This printer must be linked to the dot matrix port or printer queue, as with any other printer.

Note: Synergetic Management Systems recommends that dot matrix printers should only be used if absolutely necessary, as it is quite difficult and time consuming to configure label sizes for a dot matrix printer.
