Configuring debtor fees to use instalments

Payment plans allow debtors to pay off their annual debtor fees in a series of instalment payments. By default, debtor fees do not use instalments and cannot be included in payment plans.

To configure debtor fees to use instalments:

1. Open Fee Maintenance. See Debtor Fee Maintenance in the Debtors manual.
   The Set Debtor Fee Search Criteria window is displayed.
2. Click .
   The Debtor Fee Maintenance - General tab is displayed.
   
3. Select the debtor fee that you would like to configure for instalments in the Debtor Fee Selector window.
   
4. Select the Use Instalments field.
   
5. Click the Auto Tuition tab.
   The Debtor Fee Maintenance - Auto Tuition tab is displayed.
   
6. Select an Auto Tuition Code.
   
   
   Note: Automatic Tuition will not process a Fee Code without an Auto Tuition Code. See Automatic Tuition in the Debtors manual.
   
   
7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 to configure additional fee codes for instalments.
8. Click .
