DiscountBasedOnFeeCategory configuration setting

Description

Use the DiscountBasedOnFeeCategory configuration setting to determine whether the payment plan discount total displayed on the Payment Plans tab of the Community Portal is based on:

all fee categories configured for instalments
only fee categories configured for instalments that have the IncludeInStatementDiscountFlag field selected on the luDebtorFeeCategory lookup table. See luDebtorFeeCategory lookup table.

Note: For information about configuring debtor fees to use instalments, see Configuring debtor fees to use instalments.

Default value

The default value is True. The discount total is only based on fee categories configured for instalments that have the IncludeInStatementDiscountFlag field selected on the luDebtorFeeCategory lookup table.

Setting a different value

Clear the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window to base the discount total on all fee categories configured for instalments. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
