Date Format Displaying MMDDYYYY

Modified on Fri, 13 Mar at 2:26 AM

Issue

Sometimes the date format is stuck to American format hence the date is displayed as 'MMDDYYYY'

Resolution

1. Access START > Control Panel > Region and Language

2. CLICK on the 'Additional settings' button > Date tab

3. Update the 'Short date' to the desired format IE; dd/MM/yyyy, and CLICK Apply

4. Within the 'Formats' tab on the main screen, modify the 'Format' from English (Australia) to a different language EG; French / Spanish for example, and CLICK Apply

5. Now change the format back to 'English (Australia)' again (original setting)

6. If you are already running Synergetic then access FILE > Reload Configuration Settings OR simply exit and re-enter Synergetic

7. Should now find that the date format is correctly formatted for Australia

NOTE: You may need to reboot your workstation for the changes to take effect OR at the very least restart Synergetic
