Description
The AutoSelectNextPeriodThresholdMinutes configuration setting determines the number of minutes before the end of the current period that the system automatically selects the next period when students sign into Study Period Maintenance. See Maintaining study periods in the Attendance manual.
Default value
The default value is 3. The system automatically selects the next period three minutes before the end of the current period.
For example, if period 1 starts at 8:30am and ends at 9:30am, then the system will select period 2 at 9:27am.
Setting a new value
Type a number into the Value field in Configuration File Maintenance to change the number of minutes before the end of the current period that the system automatically selects the next period. See Configuration File Maintenance window in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
