Searching for events

Opening the Set Events Search Criteria window

To open the Set Events Search Criteria window:

Select Develop > Events Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Events Search Criteria window is displayed.

Note: You can also access this window by clicking the button on the banner containing the name of any event.
Note: If the event is not found, click to add a new event from this window. See Creating new events.
In the Set Events Search Criteria window, type in the information you know about the event.

Set Events Search Criteria window key fields and buttons
Fields

Field	Description
Event Code	Search for events by event code. Event types are maintained in the luEventType lookup table. See luEventType lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
Event Description	Search for events by event description.
Type	Search for events by event type.
Active Event	Search for events based on whether the event is active.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Create a new event. See Creating new events.
	Search for an event based on the search criteria you have entered.
	Clear all your search criteria so you can start a new search.
	Cancel your search.
