Creating pastoral care items

You can create pastoral care items from:

• The Search and create tab of the Pastoral Care Maintenance window. See Pastoral Care Maintenance - Search and create tab.
• The Pastoral Care bar of Current Student Maintenance. See Current Student Maintenance - Pastoral Care bar.

Creating pastoral care items from Pastoral Care Maintenance
To create new pastoral care items from Pastoral Care Maintenance:

1. Select Students > Pastoral Care Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
   The Pastoral Care filters tab of the Pastoral Care Maintenance window is displayed.
   
2. Search for the student you want to create the pastoral care item for. See Searching for pastoral care information.
3. Click the  icon next to the student you want to create the pastoral care item for.
   The Details tab of the Pastoral care window is displayed.
4. Select and type the details of the pastoral care item. See Pastoral Care Overview.

Creating pastoral care items from Student Maintenance
To create new pastoral care items from Student Maintenance:

1. Select Students > Student Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
2. Search for the student you want to create the pastoral care item for.
3. Click the Pastoral Care navigation bar to open it.
   The Pastoral Care navigation bar is displayed.
   
4. Click .
   The Details tab of the Pastoral care window is displayed.
5. Select and type the details of the pastoral care item. See Pastoral Care Overview.
