Importing mark books

You can import mark books from other assessment codes or classes.

To import a mark book:

Select Curriculum > Results Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Results Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the class you want to import a mark book into. See Searching for classes.
Click .
The Mark Book window is displayed.
Click.
The Staff Mark Book window is displayed.
Click .
Select the File Type, the Year and Semester and the Campus of the mark book you want to import.
Select Copy Formulas if they Exist to import any formulas within the mark book.
Select whether to copy the mark book from:
• the selected Master Assessment code
• the selected Class Code.
A list of available mark books is displayed.
Select a mark book to import.
Click .
The Copy Result confirmation window is displayed.
Click:
• if you want to also import results already existing in the mark book for any students in the class.
• if you do not want to import any results with the mark book.
The mark book is imported.
