Course Maintenance - Commission Link Courses bar

Use the Commission Link Courses bar to view courses that share a link for calculating commissions, including:

the current course - the course being viewed in Course Maintenance
the main course - the course that the current course feeds into
other linked courses:
courses that feed into the current course
courses that feed into the main course.

Commission link courses are used when calculating agent commissions. All enrolments in a commission linked course count towards the enrolments of the course it feeds into.

Opening the Commission Link Courses bar

To open the Commission Link Courses bar:

Select Curriculum > Course Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Course Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the course. See Searching for courses.
Click the Commission Link Courses bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on the bar to open it.

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Linked Course	Course code for the linked course.
Description	Description for the linked course.
Start Date	Start date for the course.
End Date	End date for the course.

Common buttons

Button	Description
	Navigate between the selected courses.
	Launch the Create New Course window to add a new course to the database. Enter the details for the course and click .
	Display the Course Maintenance Search Criteria window. You can update the search criteria and search for new courses. See Searching for courses.
	Customise how the bars are displayed. See Customising navigation bars in the Introduction manual.
	Create a new task relating to the current course. See Managing tasks in the Introduction manual.
