Course Maintenance - Charges bar

Use the Charges tab to view and maintain all the financial details of the course including:

Opening the Charges bar

To open the Charges bar:

Select Curriculum > Course Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Course Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the course. See Searching for courses.
Click the Charges bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on the bar to open it.

Course Maintenance - Charges bar key fields and buttons
Fields

Field	Description
Fee Code	Debtor fee code that the charge is allocated to. Note: The fee codes listed here depend on your configuration settings. See luDebtorFeeCategory lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
Description	Description of the charge.
Amount	Amount to be charged.
Charge Date	Date the charge is incurred after.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Move the selected record up.
	Move the selected record down.
	Click to edit the selected charge.
	Click to delete the selected charge.
	Click to add a new charge.
	Click to load charges from another course.

Common buttons

Button	Description
	Navigate between the selected courses.
	Launch the Create New Course window to add a new course to the database. Enter the details for the course and click .
	Display the Course Maintenance Search Criteria window. You can update the search criteria and search for new courses. See Searching for courses.
	Customise how the bars are displayed. See Customising navigation bars in the Introduction manual.
	Create a new task relating to the current course. See Managing tasks in the Introduction manual.
