Starting the DocMan service

Starting the DocMan service
To start the DocMan service:

1. Open the Start menu on the server where the Synergetic services (Suite) is installed.
2. Open the Run program.
3. Type Services.msc and click OK.
   The Services window is displayed.
4. Right click the Synergetic Service (Suit) and select Properties.
5. Select Automatic (Delayed Start) in the Startup Type field. Click Start.
6. Select Local System Account in the Log on field. 
   1. If DocMan folder is sitting in a remote share. Service need to be running as a domain user account and the domain account should have modify permission to the DocMan share folder.
7. The DocMan service starts.
8. Test the service is running correctly. See Testing the DocMan service.

Stopping the DocMan service
To stop the DocMan service:

1. Open the Start menu on the server where the Synergetic service (Suit) is installed.
2. Open the Run program.
3. Type Services.msc and click OK.
   The Services window is displayed.
4. Right click the Synergetic Service (Suite) and select Stop.
   The service is stopped.
