Description
The CustomHelpFileList configuration setting is used to define folders that Synergetic should use to populate the Custom Help menu.
See Using the custom help in the Introduction manual. You can:
- list multiple folder paths by putting each folder path on a separate line
- list all files by using *.*
- restrict the documents listed to particular file types by using *..
For example:
M:\Development*.*
G:\Documents\SynergyOne\TRAINING\CDATraining\Documentation\How To Articles*.*
H:\Videos\v65\Synergetic\Internal Videos*.avi
This configuration value instructs Synergetic to list:
- all folders and files within the Development directory on M drive
- all PDFs in the How To Articles directory on G drive
- all .avi files in the Internal Videos directory on H drive.
Default value
The default value is blank. Synergetic does not populate the Custom Help menu.
Setting a different value
Type the folder paths into the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files.
