You can use the Email / SMS Configuration window to update the:
- email configuration settings
- SMS (Short Message Service) configuration settings
- fax (facsimile) configuration settings.
Note: You can also configure SMS settings using Configuration File Maintenance. See Setting up SMS.
Email / SMS Configuration window key fields
Email Settings area fields
Field | Description |

Mail Server Name | Name of the mail server used to send emails from your organisation. |
Mail Server Port | Port number on the mail server used to send emails from. |
Number of Emails before Pause | Number of emails sent before pausing the service. |
Pause duration (millisec) | Duration of the pause after a certain number of emails are sent, expressed in milliseconds. |
TLS/SSL Support | The level of TLS/SSL support to be applied to this communication method. Select:

Authentication | Select whether to use:

User Name | User name to use as the proxy authentication account with the mail server. |
Password | Password to use for the proxy authentication account with the mail server. |
Confirm Password | Confirm password for the proxy authentication account. |
