EnableAttendanceOfficerModeFlag configuration setting

Description
The EnableAttendanceOfficerModeFlag setting is used to determine whether the Attendance Officer and Teacher modes are displayed on the Set Attendance Search Criteria window. See Searching for attendance records in the Attendance and absence events manual.
 

Default value
The default value is False.
In the following example, the Attendance Officer and Teacher modes are not listed.

 

Enabling Attendance Officer and Teacher modes
Select the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to set the value to True. See Maintaining configuration files.

The Attendance Officer and Teacher modes are available for use. See Class attendance in the Attendance and absence events manual.

Also, the AttendanceOfficer resource needs setting in Group/User Security Maintenance:

• Attendance Officer users need to be a member of a group with all attributes of the AttendanceOfficer resource selected.

• Teachers need to be a member of a group with all attributes of the AttendanceOfficer resource cleared, and not part of any group that has attributes of the AttendanceOfficer resource selected.
