Description
The BeforeClassStartsMinutes configuration setting is used to allow attendances to be marked within a set period before a class is scheduled to begin if the AllowFutureEntry configuration setting is set to false. See AllowFutureEntry configuration setting.
For example, if the first class starts at 8:30am and the AllowFutureEntry configuration setting is set to false, this setting can be used to allow teachers to mark attendance at 8:27am.
Default value
The default value is 20. Classes can be marked twenty minutes before they are scheduled to start.
Controlling when attendance can be marked
Type the number of minutes into the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window.
