Use the Rebates tab to record any rebates given to staff as part of the payroll process, for example Family Tax Benefits.
Note: This tab only applies to New Zealand installations.
To open the Rebates tab:
- Select Module > Payroll > Payroll Configuration Maintenance from the main menu.
The General tab of the Payroll Configuration window is displayed. - Click the Rebates tab.

Fields
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Code | Rebate code. |
Earn Less Than | Threshold for the rebate. The rebate only applies to staff members who earn less than the amount. |
Amount | Amount of the rebate, if the rebate is a dollar amount. |
Percent | Amount of the rebate, if the rebate is a percentage. |
Reduce Percent | Amount of the rebate, if the percentage of the rebate reduces as the staff member's income increases. |

Add an additional row then type into the fields in the grid area. | |
