Payroll Configuration - Rebates tab

Use the Rebates tab to record any rebates given to staff as part of the payroll process, for example Family Tax Benefits.

Note:
This tab only applies to New Zealand installations.


 Opening the Rebates tab

To open the Rebates tab:

  1. Select Module > Payroll > Payroll Configuration Maintenance from the main menu.
    The General tab of the Payroll Configuration window is displayed.
  2. Click the Rebates tab.
    The Rebates tab of the Payroll Configuration window is displayed.

Fields

Field

Description

Code

Rebate code.

Earn Less Than

Threshold for the rebate. The rebate only applies to staff members who earn less than the amount.

Amount

Amount of the rebate, if the rebate is a dollar amount.

Percent

Amount of the rebate, if the rebate is a percentage.

Reduce Percent

Amount of the rebate, if the percentage of the rebate reduces as the staff member's income increases.

Buttons

Button

Description

Add an additional row then type into the fields in the grid area.

Delete the highlighted row in the grid area.
