Payroll Configuration - HELP Tax Rates tab

Use the HELP Tax Rates tab to maintain rates that apply when an employee is repaying a HECS-HELP debt.

Note: This tab only applies to Australian installations.

Opening the HELP Tax Rates tab

To open the HELP Tax Rates tab:

Select Payroll > Payroll Configuration Maintenance from the main menu.
The General tab of the Payroll Configuration window is displayed.
Click the HELP Tax Rates tab.
The HELP Tax Rates tab of the Payroll Configuration window is displayed.

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Code	The tax scale code.
Weekly Min Weekly Max	The tax scale is used if the gross pay is between the weekly minimum and maximum levels.
HELP Percentage	Percentage of salary being deducted based on the gross weekly salary of the employee.
