Generating BMS IDs

To generate a BMS ID:

1. Open the Payer tab of Payroll Configuration. See Payroll Configuration - Payer tab.
2. Click .
   The Warning window is displayed.
   
3. Click .
   The Confirm window is displayed.
   

4. Either click:
   •  for Synergetic to automatically generate a BMS ID
   
   •  to manually enter a BMS ID.
   
   Tip: You should let Synergetic generate the BMS ID unless you are transitioning from a different STP enabled payroll system and would like to bring across the existing BMS ID and Year to Date values.

   
   Generating BMS IDs is complete.
