Business Management Software IDs (BMS IDs) are used to uniquely identify business management software applications to the Australian Taxation Office. When your organisation has updated its business management software and needs to amend a Single Touch Payroll submission from a prior financial year, the amended submission must include both the current and previous BMS IDs.
Schools can use the new BMS ID tab of Payroll Configuration to generate and set their current BMS ID. Additionally, the tab also includes a history grid for maintaining previous IDs.
