Use the Category Price Groups sub-tab of the Business Units tab to set a profit target for item categories when they are sold to certain groups. For example, your organisation can choose to sell items in the category "textbooks" to students for a low profit.

Grid area fields
Field | Description |

Item Category | Category of items that the profit target applies to. |
Price Group No. | Number for the price group. |
Price Group Short Desc | Code for the price group. |
Internal Sale? | Select if the profit targets apply to internal sales only. |
Profit/Pricing Method | Select either Markup or Gross Margin in the Profit/Pricing area below. |
% Profit Target Min | The minimum profit that the business unit aims to make from the items for the category and price group. |
% Profit Target Max | The maximum profit that the business unit aims to make from the items for the category and price group. |
