Affects

Can affect all schools needing to run the STATS export. 

Error

The STATS export contains zero absences.

This error can occur for a number of reasons

• There was no timetable definition for an included term
• The affected year levels do not have a time table group attached to them. This means that the overnight auto calculate has no way to determine the time period associated with being marked absent from class.
• From the start of the year up to a specific date, for double periods (classes) only a single period was marked 

Resolution

To resolve this 

1. Ensure all included terms have a timetable definition

2. Ensure all year Levels have a timetable group attached to them. 

3. Ensure all double period classes have both periods attendance marked. 
4. Check Absence event in luAbsenceType has the 'CountAsAbsenceFlag' Ticked

You will then need to contact Support in order for an Absence Event Recalculation Script to be run before attempting to export the STATS report again. 

Considerations

You may wish to consider using override minutes for double periods to ensure they are marked correctly in the future.
