Description
Use the ValidationFailedMessage configuration setting to define the password validation failure message displayed on the Change Password tab of the Community Portal when entered passwords fail to meet the validation criteria defined using the ValidationRegex configuration setting.
Important: You must define a password validation regular expression using the ValidationRegex configuration setting to use this configuration setting. See ValidationRegex configuration setting.
Default value
The default value is Blank.
Setting a different value
Type the password validation failure message into the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
Important: You must ensure that the entered message matches the validation criteria specified using the ValidationRegex configuration setting.
