To create a new menu item to link to a Custom Page or User form:
- Log in as a portal administrator. That is, listed as an Admin user in the Community Portal XML file.
- Click Configuration in the Admin Panel.
The Main Menu Configuration Tool window is displayed. - Click .
The Create new menu item window is displayed. - Select the type of page from the Type drop-down list, either:
• Custom Page
• User form. - Select the available resources from the Resource drop-down list.
Note: You can only view options in the Resource field when a custom HTML or ASPX file is stored in the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\SynergeticCommunityPortal\Site\Pages directory.
- Type a unique Title for the menu item.
- Click .
The menu item is created, if it does not already exist.
