Configuring staff schedules

You can configure aspects of Staff Schedule Maintenance to suit your organisation's needs.

Key configuration settings

Configuration setting	Description	See...
AllowTimetabled-ClassSchedule	Determine if timetabled classes show up in the Staff Schedule Maintenance.	AllowTimetabled- ClassSchedule configuration setting
DefaultAttended	Determine if scheduled appointments default to Attended.	DefaultAttended configuration setting
DefinitionTime	Define the default schedule periods.	DefinitionTime configuration setting
EnableQuickCreation	Determines whether you can make a New Quick Appointment or a New Quick Recurring Appointment in Staff Schedule Maintenance.	EnableQuickCreation configuration setting
UseObjectRooms	Determine whether Staff Schedule Maintenance can use object rooms rather than the luRoom lookup table list.	UseObjectRooms configuration setting

Stored procedures
You can create a stored procedure to modify schedule parameters before inserting the staff schedule event. The procedures are:

uspiStaffSchedulePreInsert for staff events
uspiStaffScheduleStudentInsert for when students are imported into the StaffScheduleStudentClasses table.
