Community Maintenance - Involvement bar

Use the Involvement bar to maintain details of community member involvement with students at your organisation.

You can use the:

Student Interaction area fields and buttons to maintain types of student interaction for the selected community member including:

- coach
- volunteer
- contractor.
Activities sub-tab to maintain details of activities performed to prepare community members for student involvement including:

- child safety training
- identity verifications
- policy agreements.

Opening the Involvement bar

To open the Involvement bar:

Select Community from the SynWeb main menu.
The Community Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for a community member. See Searching for community members.
Click the Involvement bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

Student Interaction area fields and buttons

Fields

Field	Description
Interaction Type	Type of student interaction. See luStudentSafetyInteractionType lookup table in the System maintenance manual.
Start Date	Start date of the student interaction.
Expiry Date	Expiry date of the student interaction.
Description	Description of the student interaction.
Campus	Campus linked to the student interaction. See luCampus lookup table in the System maintenance manual.
Created	Date the student interaction was created.
By	Community member that created the student interaction.
Modified	Date the student interaction was last modified.
By	Community member that last modified the student interaction.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Add a new student interaction.
	Launch the Interaction window to edit the selected student interaction
	Delete the selected student interaction.

Fields

Field	Description
Activity Type	Type of student involvement activity. See luStudentSafetyActivityType lookup table in the System maintenance manual.
Status	Status of the student involvement activity. See luStudentSafetyActivityStatus lookup table in the System maintenance manual.
Comment	Comment about the student involvement activity.
Activity By	Staff member that performed the student involvement activity.
Activity Date	Date the student involvement activity was performed.
Expiry Date	Expiry date of the student involvement activity.
Created	Date the student involvement activity was created.
By	Community member that created the student involvement activity.
Modified	Date the student involvement activity was last modified.
By	Community member that last modified the student involvement activity.
