Setting up music categories

Use Music Maintenance to maintain:

• sections of your organisation's band
• students participating in each section
• instruments assigned to each student
• roles assigned to students in each section
• events such as practice sessions, performances or competitions.

Music Maintenance uses two category levels:

To set up Music Maintenance categories:

1. Set up the Sections of your organisation's band. See Creating music sections.
2. Set up the Instruments played in your organisation's band. See Creating instruments.

Once you have created each category you can maintain the details of each category. See Maintaining co-curricular categories.
