Setting up sports categories

Use Sports Maintenance to set up:

• available sports
• students participating in each sport
• positions assigned to students in each sport
• events such as training sessions or competitions.

Sports Maintenance uses three category levels:

To set up Sports Maintenance categories:

1. Set up the Sports played at your organisation. See Creating sports.
2. Set up the Squads for each age group within a sport. See Creating squads.
3. Set up the Teams within each squad. See Creating teams.

Once you have created each category you can maintain the details of each category. See Maintaining co-curricular categories.
