Creating new learning areas

To add a learning area to the database:

1. Either:
   • Click on the Set Learning Area Search Criteria window. See Searching for learning areas.
   • Click on the Learning Area Maintenance window.
   The Create New Learning Area window is displayed.
   
2. Enter a Learning Area Code and Description.
3. Click .
   The new learning area is created and Learning Area Maintenance is displayed. See Maintaining learning areas.
