Class Maintenance - Result Groups bar

The Result Groups tab is used to link tests or examinations to result groups.

Opening the Result Groups bar

To open the Result Groups bar:

Select Curriculum > Class Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Class Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the class. See Searching for classes.
Click the Result Groups bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on the bar to open it.

Grid area fields

Field	Description
Result Group	You can work with result groups instead of each individual assessment area in Student Results Maintenance. The result groups are defined in the luReportResultGroup lookup table. See luReportResultGroup lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
Group Class	Group to link class assessments to a single assessment.
Override Type	Type of result for the result group.
Mean / Std Dev / Min / Max	Fields for assessment area calculations for a result group are: Mean Std Dev (standard deviation) Min (minimum) Max (maximum).
#	Click to edit the result group.
#	Click to remove this result group from the class.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Launch the Add Result Group window to add a new entry to the grid.

Common buttons

Button	Description
	Navigate between the selected classes.
	Delete the selected class, if no students are taking the class. See Deleting classes.
	Launch the Create New Class window to add a new class to the database. See Creating new classes.
	Display the Class Maintenance Search Criteria window. You can update the search criteria and search for new classes. See Searching for classes.
	Launch the Customise Tab Layout window. See Customising navigation bars in the Introduction manual.
	Create a new task relating to the current class. See Managing tasks in the Introduction manual.
