Description
The ContactMinutesUpper setting is used to set the amount of minutes that a student must be absent to be assigned a rounded Absence Factor of 1.0.
That is, if a student is absent for more minutes in one day than the ContactMinutesUpper their Absence Factor is rounded to 1.0.
Note: If a student is absent for less than the ContactMinutesUpper their rounded Absence Factor may be 0.0 or 0.5, depending on the ContactMinutesLower configuration setting and the ContactMinutes configuration setting.
Default value
The default value is 270. If a student is absent for more than 270 minutes their rounded Absence Factor is 1.0.
Setting the value
Type the new value into the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Maintaining configuration files.
