Description
The Provider:Timeout configuration setting defines the number of milliseconds after which the address validation search is aborted.
Default value
The default value is 10000. The address validation search will abort after ten seconds.
Setting a different value
Type into the Value field on the Configuration File Maintenance window to define a different timeout duration. See Maintaining configuration files.
Note: You can also set the value of this configuration setting using the Address Validation Provider Timeout setting on the Interface Settings window. See Using the Interface Settings window.
