Configuring Crystal Reports before creating reports

To configure Crystal Reports before creating a report:

  1. Start Crystal Reports Developer.
  2. Select File > Options from the main menu.
  3. Click the Database tab, if not already selected.
    The Database tab is displayed.
  4. Select the following fields:

    • Use Indexes or Server for Speed
    • Perform Grouping on Server
    • Database Server is Case-Insensitive
    .

  5. Clear the following fields:

    • 
    Verify On First Refresh
    • Verify Stored Procedures On First Refresh
    .

  6. Click the Reporting tab.
    The Reporting tab is displayed.
  7. Clear the following fields:

    • 
    Save Data With Report
    • Save Preview Picture
    .

  8. Save and close the window.
