Updating MS Query queries for the single database structure

To update an MS Query for the single database structure:

Open Microsoft Excel.
Create an MS Query for either:

• SynergyOne
• SynergyOneFinance
• SynergyExtraFinance.

See Extracting data using the Microsoft Query wizard.
Click the Data tab.
Click Connections.
The Workbook Connections window is displayed.
Select the query.
Click .
The Connection Properties window is displayed.
Click the Definition tab.
The Definition tab is displayed.
Update:

• DSN to Synergetic
• DATABASE to the single database name. For example, Synergetic_AUVIC_CDA_TST.
Click .
The SQL Server Login window is displayed.
Type your username into the Login ID field.
Type your password into the Password field.
Click .
The following error is displayed.
Click .
Repeat steps 5 through 7.
Update the database in the Command text field.

Note: You need to replace the dbo to extrafinance if you are updating a SynergeticExtraFinance MS Query query.
Click .
Repeat steps 2 through 16 to update additional MS Query queries.
Click Save.
