Creating new payroll employees

To create a new payroll employee record for the staff member, either:

  • click  on the Set Payroll Search Criteria window
  • click  on the Payroll Maintenance toolbar
  • select File > New from the main menu
  • right click on the Payroll Selector grid and select New
  • press Ctrl + N.
    Several data input windows will follow. You can navigate  and  if required.

    Note: New employees are often created using  on the Personal tab of Staff Maintenance. See Staff Maintenance - Personal tab in the HR manual.
