Configuring automatic notifications

You can configure Synergetic to send emails or SMS messages to community members in response to events such as:

student absences
incomplete attendance records.

Two-way SMS messaging is supported through SynWeb. You can use:

SMS Replies tab to process SMS replies. See Notifications Maintenance - SMS Replies tab in the SynWeb Introduction manual.
SMS Processed tab to display previously processed SMS replies. See Notifications Maintenance - SMS Processed tab in the SynWeb Introduction manual.

Note: You must have the SYS:NotificationsMaint security permissions to maintain notifications. See Maintaining security permissions in the System maintenance manual.
