Award Maintenance - Job Positions tab

Use the Job Positions tab to:

  • view job positions that use the selected award
  • maintain the active status of job positions.

 

 Opening the Job Positions tab

To open the Job Positions tab:

  1. Select Module > Human Resources > Award Maintenance from the main menu.
    The General tab of the Award Maintenance window is displayed.
  2. Click the Job Positions tab.
    The Job Positions tab of the Award Maintenance window is displayed.

Code

Unique code identifying the award.

Description

Description of the award.

Buttons

Description

Select the first record.

Select the previous record.

Select the next record.

Select the last record.

Note: At this point, Synergetic only supports creating awards through the Payroll Configuration window. See Payroll Configuration - Leave Awards tab in the Payroll manual.


Job Position tab key fields and buttons

Active

If selected, only display active job positions.

Grid area fields

Description

Code

Unique code for the job position.

Tip:
Double click on a grid cell to launch Job Position Maintenance for the selection job position.

Description

Description for the job position.

Note:
This should be regarded as a job title rather than a list of responsibilities.

Category

Job category for the job position.

Active

If selected, this job position is active.

Buttons

Button

Description

Launch Job Position Maintenance for the selected job position. See Job Position Maintenance - General tab.

Tip:
You can also launch Job Position Maintenance by double clicking on the job position in the grid.
