The Keys tab allows you to keep track of all keys issued to staff members. Use the Keys tab to:
- view the list of keys that the staff member holds
- issue a new key to the staff member
- log the date the staff member returned a key
- launch into Keys Maintenance. See Maintaining keys.
Staff Maintenance - Keys tab key fields and buttons
Fields
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Key Code | Select the key that is being issued. |
Description | Description of the key that is issued. |
Date Issued | Optionally select a date of issue. |
Key Number | Provide the key's unique identification number (up to 15 characters). |
Date Returned | Select the date the key was returned. |
Comment | Any comment about the key issued. |
Currently Issued Only | Select to only display keys that are currently issued to the staff member. Clear to display all keys ever issued to the staff member, including keys that have been returned. |
