You can use the CESA tab of the Import/Export Student Data window to export the Religion Survey required by Catholic Education South Australia.

Opening the CESA tab

To open the CESA tab:

Select Module > Students > Student Data Import/Export from the main menu.
The Import/Export Student Data window is displayed.

Tip: You can also access the student import and export functions by clicking .
Click the CESA tab.
The CESA tab of the Import/Export Student Data window is displayed.

Year

File year to process.

Term

Term to process.

Campus

Campus to process.

Output Mode

Output mode of the file. You can select:

CESA Output File to process the religion survey
Student Preview to preview details of the students to be included in the religion survey.

Process Type

Type of file to process.

Note: Currently, you can only process the religion survey.

CESA religion survey field configurations

Religion Survey

Column	Heading	Description
A	AGEID	School code allocated to each campus by the Department of Education.
		Configuration
		This field value is defined by populating the Value field of the MCEETYA_SchoolCode configuration setting with your allocated school code. See MCEETYA_SchoolCode configuration setting.
B	School Name	Name of your school.
		Configuration
		This field value is defined using the School Name field on the School tab of School Settings Maintenance. See School Settings Maintenance - School tab.
C	School Type	School type for your organisation.
		Configuration
		Load the CESA school type values into the luSchoolType lookup table. - luSchoolType lookup table - Loading lookup tables for external systems. Select your school type using the School Type field on the School tab of School Settings Maintenance. See School Settings Maintenance - School tab. Based on your selection, the report field can have a value of either: - Primary School - Secondary School - Combined School - Special School.
D	Suburb	Suburb where your school is located.
		Configuration
		This field value is defined using the School Suburb field on the CESA tab of the Import/Export Student Data window. Note: You can define the default value of this field using the CESA_SchoolSuburb configuration setting. See CESA_SchoolSuburb configuration setting.
E	Diocese	Diocese where your school is located.
		Configuration
		This field value is defined using the School Diocese field on the CESA tab of the Import/Export Student Data window. Note: You can define the default value of this field using the CESA_SchoolDiocese configuration setting. See CESA_SchoolDiocese configuration setting.
F	Religion Type	Religion of the student.
		Configuration
		This field value is defined using the Religion field on the Personal tab of Current Student Maintenance. See Current Student Maintenance - Personal tab. Note: You need to map luReligion values to the CESA values using the CESA interface setting. See Using the Interface Settings window. Note: Lookup values from luReligion that cannot be mapped to CESA values are reported as Unknown.
G	Year Level	Year level of the student.
		Configuration
		This field is defined using the Year Level drop-down list on the Status sub-tab of the School tab of Current Student Maintenance. See Current Student Maintenance - School tab. Note: You need to map luYearLevel values to the CESA values using the CESA interface setting. See Using the Interface Settings window.

School Suburb

Suburb where your school is located.

Note: You can define the default value of this field using the CESA_SchoolSuburb configuration setting. See CESA_SchoolSuburb configuration setting.

School Diocese

Diocese where your school is located.

Note: You can define the default value of this field using the CESA_SchoolDiocese configuration setting. See CESA_SchoolDiocese configuration setting.

Process Date

Date the export is processed.

Filename

Filename and location.

Progress

Progress bar for the export.
