Maintaining student information and exclusions for DEEWR exports

Certain students must be excluded or specially indicated in DEEWR exports. To ensure the correct information is exported into the DEEWR file, you must ensure:

• Flags for Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander status are accurate. See Maintaining flags for Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander students.
• Students who are external, part-time or have left before the end of the export period are excluded. See Excluding students from the DEEWR export.

Excluding year levels
Certain year levels at your school may also be exempt from providing DEEWR exports. Ensure any non-relevant year levels are excluded. See Excluding a year level from the DEEWR export.
