Renaming subject assessments

You can rename a subject assessment.

Note: Alternatively you can select File > Rename from the main menu.

You can also assign the subject assessment to a:

  • campus, if the campus was not specified before
  • different campus
  • different file type.

To rename a subject assessment:

  1. Search for the subject assessment you want to rename. See Searching for subjects and assessment areas.
    The Subject Assessment Selector window is displayed on the left.
  2. Select the subject assessment to rename.
  3. Right click.
    The following menu is displayed.
  4. Select Rename.
    The RENAME Assessment Code window is displayed.
  5. Type the New Assessment Code, according to the naming standards used at your organisation.
  6. Update the Optional fields, if you need to assign the subject assessment to a different campus or file type. Also, see Moving subject assessments.
  7. Click .
    The Confirm window is displayed.
  8. Click .
    The subject assessment is renamed.
  9. Update the details of the subject assessment. See Maintaining subject assessments.
  10. Create new areas of assessment or modify the details of the existing ones. See:
    Creating new subject assessment areas.

RENAME Assessment Code window key fields

Field

Description

New Assessment Code

New assessment code, based on the naming standards used at your organisation.

Tip: Leave the New Assessment Code unchanged (the same as the Old Assessment Code) to change the campus or file type only.

Campus

Campus that the new subject assessment is assessed at, if applicable.
In most cases, this is the same.

File Type

File type that applies to the new subject assessment.
In most cases, this is the same.
