Modified on Sun, 19 Apr at 11:06 PM

You can prevent the scheduling of specialist subjects on a part-time teacher's days' off by setting their availability.

In the following example, Susan Thomas does not work Monday or Friday. To achieve this, all cells in column D1 and D5 are set to N.

To define the availability of a part-time teacher:

  1. Select Basic Data > Teachers from the main menu.

The Teachers window is displayed with teachers added earlier.
  2. Select the part-time teacher.
  3. Select a group of cells when the teacher is not available, in the Available Times area.
In this example, all cells in the D1 column are selected; that is, all of Monday.
  4. Click .
The teacher's availability is set to N for the selected cells.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each day and periods that the teacher does not work.
  6. Click .
  7. Click.
